GPLA Celebrates Women in Construction Week

Last week, GPLA proudly celebrated Women in Construction Week, joining colleagues across the DPR Family of Companies in recognizing the leadership, expertise, and impact women bring to every phase of the built environment. Throughout the week, teams across our organizations worked together in a collaborative effort to highlight and celebrate the women who help shape our projects, strengthen our teams, and contribute to the continued growth of our industry.

At GPLA and across the DPR Family of Companies, we know that strong projects are built by diverse teams that collaborate early, challenge assumptions, and lead with intention. Women across our teams play a critical role in driving thoughtful engineering solutions, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring projects are delivered with clarity, precision, and purpose. Their contributions are felt in every stage of the process, from early design coordination and technical problem solving to project delivery and long-term partnerships with clients and collaborators.

Women in Construction Week also served as an opportunity for teams across the DPR Family of Companies to come together and recognize the importance of representation, mentorship, and leadership within the industry. By sharing stories, perspectives, and experiences, our teams reinforced a shared commitment to building environments where individuals can grow, contribute, and lead in meaningful ways.

Throughout the week, GPLA highlighted several of the remarkable women within our organization and invited them to share their perspectives on collaboration and the role it plays in delivering coordinated and constructable solutions. Their insights reflected the strength of teamwork across engineers, builders, designers, and project partners, and demonstrated how diverse viewpoints help elevate both project outcomes and team culture.

The recognition extended beyond individual contributions, emphasizing the collective effort across the DPR Family of Companies to support and celebrate the women helping move our industry forward. From engineering and construction to project coordination and leadership, these professionals continue to shape the way projects are delivered and how teams work together to solve complex challenges.

Women in Construction Week is an important reminder of the progress our industry continues to make and the opportunities that lie ahead. GPLA is proud to celebrate the women on our teams and across the DPR Family of Companies whose expertise, collaboration, and leadership continue to elevate the standard for engineering and construction across the built environment.
